About the Farm
At Green Grass Station, our mission is straightforward: We specialize in breeding and sourcing Australian rangeland goats and sheep to process for its meat to feed the demands of people around the world.
In the hemp arena, we aim to cultivate industrial hemp, manufacturing fibre and natural, alternative, animal feed products.
Our vision? A fully integrated process, from nurturing the soil to producing high-quality goods, ensuring top-tier nutrition for our livestock and valuable products for sale.
What We Do
We are an Australian supplier of caprine products to the South East Asian market.
We supply our ASEAN distributors frozen and chilled lamb, mutton, goat meat and livestock.
Goat Country
The Western NSW Rangelands is historically been well populated with rangeland goats. Recent estimates suggest that western NSW is home to approximately 70% of Australia’s goats.
Our farm, “Green Grass Station”, is located near Girilambone, New South Wales.
Green Grass Station covers 2192 acres and it is within the Western NSW Rangelands;
Our farm can comfortably supply more than 30,000 goats and sheep a year.
Our Team
Michael Weigang
Michael is a highly seasoned professional with over ten years of dedicated experience in the dynamic livestock industry. At Green Grass Station, he plays a pivotal role as the head of our livestock operations.
His key responsibilities encompass not only overseeing the breeding and procurement of goats and sheep but also extending to comprehensive farm management.
Faris Abdul Rahman
Faris is a CPA Australia holder and has been board of several companies in both Australia and overseas. He is particularly experienced in the livestock and meat trade to South East Asia.
He was previously Head of Felcra Livestock and Agribusiness, a Malaysian agency spearheading the country's food security program.
Lindsay Bottom
Lindsay is a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in the livestock industry. His primary responsibility is managing the intricate logistics associated with livestock for both local and export markets.
With an unwavering commitment to the well-being of our animals, Lindsay ensures that every aspect of the logistics process is carried out with the utmost care and expertise.
Ariff Azmi
Ariff is a certified Non Packet Exporter with a strong background in media and communications. With a career spanning since 2013 in the food and hospitality industry, Ariff brings a wealth of expertise to Green Grass Meat Exports.
His primary role revolves around driving marketing, communications, and business development strategies for the company.
Dr. Shofian
Haji Ahmad
Dr. Shofian, an expert in Muamalat and Islamic Economics with a Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, teaches at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia's Centre of Sharia Studies. He's a member of the Association of Shariah Advisors in Islamic Finance in Malaysia and has authored research papers on Islamic economics and consumerism.
His principal responsibility within the business is to provide Sharia advice and ensure the program's compliance with Sharia principles.
